Week 7...Thing 16

Wikis...

Let's see. My main experience with Wikis is dealing with Wikipedia. When I first started to use the site I was a little to critical of it. I would not rely on it at all. With using it a little more it grew on me. As much as you need to be cautious that anyone can add information to wikis, it is nice because you can get so many points of view and influences.

My LATI group also used a wiki. That was very confusing. It was hard for us to find the site and then posting on it was not hard but it was not as easy as I thought it should be.

I do not know if I missed something, but how can I create a wiki of my own? It would be a great tool for me in helping plan programs and projects with people that I do not see all of the time.

Jessica - you are way ahead of me. I just finished Week 6. I thought of playing around with the wiki maker Gail Griffith uses and loves - http://pbwiki.com. I think it would be a good way to create a staff place to post projects we could work on together and also to applaud each other for jobs done well.... We might want one for staff development rather than the blog - what do you think?
